Rides that would be better without an element?

I am in agreement with a lot of people here when I say: Storm Runner - that stupid banked S turn crap. What makes it worse is that the Flying snake Dive is one of my favorite elements on any coaster. So you have an incredible element followed by 💩 Lightning Rod - non-inverted-half-loop...

What was your first coaster with an inversion?

As always, gonna show my age here but mine was Double Loop at Geauga Lake. Back when they had only 3 major coasters. I grew up with Kennywood as my home park but I wasn't tall enough for Laser Loop yet.

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi

Planet Coaster would have been a better choice.

    Best Element on an RMC?

My top two are : 90 degree outside banked tophat on Lightning Rod. Mainly because its a blind element and you can't see the track going through it. not sure of the name but the reverse Cobra roll on Twisted Cyclone.

What is your favourite drop tower?

Not really for the height or intensity but my favorite one (just for the view) used to be Pitfall at Kennywood. Because you are up on top of a ravine, you could see for miles when you were on top. My current favorite one is Drop Line at Dollywood. Simply for the same reason. But this one is...

    Is RMC Raptor a bust?

If my memory serves me correctly, the two Raptor models we see were meant to be prototypes for a more custom design. Eventually leading up to the larger model T-Rex. We don't have any inside information on what orders are in the works for RMC but my guess is that they are at capacity with orders...

    What is "hauling"?

"Hauling" is a G-Rated way of saying "Hauling @SS" It is an idiom meaning "to move quickly or to hurry," So when you hear someone say "that coaster was hauling!" They are meaning its running fast or faste rthan normal. If you want to see a good example of what Kw6s is referring to, watch the...

Rides that you would like more if they had different restraints

Im gonna go a different route than what most are saying and say "PTC Trains." Specifically Legend and Voyage. I'm a larger rider with long legs and its really awkward for me to fit into those restraints. I have been bruised a few times. Would be nice to see Timberliners or even Millenium Flyers...

Holiday World | Cheetah Chase | ProSlide RocketBlast

Interesting phrases that stick out to me are "I felt like a cat playing with a mouse." and "Nobody has caught all of them." They also mentioned its been 5 years since the announcement of T-Bird. Kinda points to a cat and Mouse themed dueling coaster. edit; I'm sticking with the aquatrax...

Holiday World | Cheetah Chase | ProSlide RocketBlast

Count me in on the bandwagon for an Aquatrax. Given the clues and what the park needs, this makes the most sense.

    Because its not an RMC

    Kennywood | Steel Curtain | S&S Multi-looper

It should come as no surprise as Joe Draves is a disciple of Alan Schilke and Joe is a big coaster enthusiast as well. He did say the drop was inspired by Drachen Fire so its appropriate to call it that.

    Kennywood | Steel Curtain | S&S Multi-looper

Actually it is a pretty good update. If you look closely, you can see all how far all the groundwork has come. There were pictures of the queue being ready to be poured and not you can see where the railing has been installed along the path. There's not much track to install. So I'm guessing...
