I'm a Holmfirth guy myself, got to admit that it is good for spontaneous trips to 2 of the 3 best parks in country (PB and Alton) just wake up and decide to go, remember waking up in the afternoon and popping off to Scarefest and Fireworks when they weren't busy. Even used to go after school...
Re: Golden Ticket Awards 2016: Fury 325 On Top (Awards Page
Wildfire 28th? Having a laugh, T Express 44th.. Not ridden it but yet again, absolutely crazy. There seems to be a few mediocre coasters made it in there as well.
Being a Leeds fan, naturally I have to go for Elland Road, the East Stand is massive, one of the biggest in the league and always has a decent atmosphere, even when not full. Last two matches I've been to have had 28K (Birmingham and Huddersfield) despite losing, the Atmosphere at matches is...
When a chain adds 3 of the same coaster, at 3 parks, in the same year with the same theme. I'm looking at you Six Flags.. is one unique ride much to ask for? Found what's missing at least.
Another vote for Zero G Roll over here, but if Zero G Stall was in the poll it would be that. I'd go as far to say it's the best element on any ride around.
Consider FrittFall as 2 different experiences, stand up and sit down, the shot tower, the mini kids drop tower and you have 4 drop tower experiences already, I know the park is limited spacewise but the choice of another drop tower is really confusing, 4 is enough as it is, 5 is overkill! :lol...
We've all done it, judged a ride before going on it, sometimes they meet your expectations, sometimes they are a massive let down. Which coasters did you expect to be poor before riding?
For me, Kanonen was the main one. I was expecting the typical Rita and Colossus type of pain as it rattled...
Flamingo Land is my local park, so you'd generally expect me to have been on Kumali in 4 trips. I've missed it 4 times, closed all day. on the plus side there was no queues! :D
Other than that I'd have to say Rattlesnake at Chessington, which was on a busy day anyway so I doubt it would've...
I don't think any or going out soon, but I can see one of the more innovative companies going the same way as arrow, and take a massive project on only for it to fail. Maybe S&S, who bought what was left of arrow although I'm not entirely sure of their financial state they have had a few...

The Gaslight Anthem, they are on a hiatus now but they are definitely my favourite group.
Brian Fallon however, released an album while on Hiatus, went to see him live in Manchester. What can I say? Absolutely :censored: amazing. Lyrical masterpieces.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2RVttubRs4...
Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Project 2018
Summer Holidays are over, the park will be quieter for these next few weeks until Vampire beach and I am guessing groundwork can move on quicker, should start getting interesting with the midweek closures.. As Temleh mentioned, Steeplechase, Dipper and...
