Actually I would much prefer a dark ride taking you around the Hogwarts castle instead of the forbidden journey which I found rather overrated. A completely indoor Jurassic park river adventure so it could be enjoyed even in winter would be cool. Or maybe there's a way to make some sections...
My very personal opinion, we are in no danger to have world-class parks with Merlin around. They are uncapable to conceive, build or maintain rides of a certain complexity. By saying this I have Gardaland in Italy in my mind.. I will never forgive them for utterly spoiling that poor park. That...
That's what I meant :) not necessarily inverts but some version of a duelling coaster be awesome. I will be so glad to see the end of Merlin's (almost) monopoly, hopefully we will start getting quality coasters of a satisfactory length. As much as I love Nemesis I always found it frustratingly...
I personally think the whole point of a park is to offer 'exotic' themes, I wouldn't want to see a resort filled with just British IP's. Mind, wouldn't complain about Harry Potter, showcasing heritage could certainly have an appeal especially on foreign tourist but I hope they will diversify and...
Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
Naturally, the Smiler looks wayyyy more exciting then Gold Striker no doubt! And here's 300 - Go me! Do I win summing?!
Construction of the Intamin multilooper has gone vertical, first supports up, the square kind ala Ispeed for the fans... :-/ , oh well, at least the track colour looks cool..

Re: Mirabilandia |"DiVertical"| Intamin (?) Water Coaster
Plain sad really, in Italy they created this massive hype about this ultimate thrill machine, comparing it to the other two (GREAT) coasters present in the park and underlining it would be the largest investment ever made by Mirabilandia...
Claudio Mazzoli, Gardaland's ex art director is doing a great job with Shambhala's theming! Can't wait to see this finished and can't wait to ride it in June! Just wondering if they will build also the mountain that you see on the map concept, that be awesome...
