Drayton Manor Resort Five Year Plan 2022 - 2026

By no means a small new addition for Thomas Land. Much more significant than another flat for the area.

Your most disproportionately long wait for a ride?

Around 3 hours for Scooby-Doo (Warner Bros. Movie World) Australia back in 2002. This was the new ride for that year, and naive me assumed new ride = great ride. Don't get me wrong, it is fantastic. But consider spending 3 hours+ of your first and only time in Australia queuing for what is...

    Accident at Alton Towers

I think you overestimate the memory of the GP and what they are willing to forgive. This was an awful accident in which there were 0 fatalities. Rides have reopened under much worse circumstances. I doubt there will even be a re-brand. Smiler will be open for the 2016 season in my opinion.

    Fantastic old coaster footage/pics

I'm sure there's at least one moment when that boat coasts on the track below for a fraction of a second :P

    The Games we play...

I'm hoping that Nintendo will discontinue the "old 3DS" and replace it with the "New 3DS" thus avoiding any confusion on the shelves at least? Just picked up a few complete big boxes today; Full Throttle, Leisure Suit Larry collectors edition, Rebel Assault, X-Wing and Dungeon Keeper. Some...

Favourite 'special effect' on a ride?

Similar to Transformers Gazza, the "freefall" section of Spiderman is really well executed. Along the same lines as Temple del Fuego, Backdraft was amazing for pyro effects. There is a brief section where barrels explode and launch like they do in the movie, blew my mind when I was younger...

The Incredible Hulk or Revenge of the Mummy?

Mummy for me too. Brilliant pacing, soundtrack and effects. Hulk looses my interest after the cobra roll. I find the entire section after the MCBR to be rough too. I don't think it's aged well at all.

Merlin May Develop Legoland For Beijing

Call me naive, but is Lego that big of a thing in China? Or would this be to primarily cash in from visitors to the country?

IP V6 Day - Heads up.

South Parks episode "Over Logging" has all your answers to where the internet is located, what would happen if it was to ever "break" and who pushes the big buttons :)

    Merlin Fatigue

I have never bought a Merlin Pass for this very reason. I always make sure I go to any Merlin park with an offer in hand, so I never normally pay more than £20 or so for entry, so 5 merlin attractions per year is fine for me, and it stops be getting bored of them too. Also, it encourages me to...

Power Trip Coaster - Wild Mouse for Fun Spot USA

Old Town is nice, it is essentially one big stereotype after another though (including visitors and the actual place), but its fine to go there, get on a few rides, and there is normally an event on there too. Perfect place to spend an evening on one of your "off" days on holiday or whatever.

Re: LC12 - B&M 'Wing-Rider', Thorpe Park 2012 Awwwwww.... I should read articles fully instead of just skimming :( Inappropriate comment fail
