Most likely everything non essential closing in The Netherlands till Jan 19th so presumably Efteling and Toverland will have to close for 5 weeks. For the Efteling that will suck as they are usually quite busy over the Christmas period.
Some type of polar-esque theme park centred around permanent Christmas, artic or just a generic snowy landscape set at night I think would be great.
Would have to be an indoor theme park with mostly low to the ground launch coasters, snowy themed flat rides and a central area with ice skating...
Indeed Germany numbers crazy high now. Not surprising the winter stuff is canned. Interesting to note Netherlands are still posting low-ish death figures. Hopefully that doesn't change.
Wow, numbers in the USA are completely sky rocketing, there are now more active cases added in the last 6...
Loopings reporting that two shows at Disneyland Paris will not come back at all:
Moteurs....Action!
and Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

We all knew the car stunt show would close eventually at...
Article in Loopings.nl quoting the director of Gröna Lund. "If we can't open in 2021 I don't see how we can avoid bankruptcy."

Replace the Hollywood Tour thing and Crazy Bats with an indoor double launch Intamin family coaster with snowmobile style trains, in a polar setting with a starry night sky.
So another lockdown in the UK England from Nov 5th to Dec 2nd minimum, with schools exempt.
Secondary schools may close.
This evening some parents in my estate happy to send kids around for trick or treating.
The stupidity is just staggering.
Edit: Sorry made a mistake thinking it was for UK...
Such a good point.
I can appreciate the argument for keeping schools open due to the now ingrained structure in society of most families having both parents working (things would have been quite different 100 years ago) but really will it be enough to stop the spread as you point out? Or just...
The likes of Disneyland Paris closing is a big deal. It seems like such a big machine to get up and running again and it was barely functioning as it was with only 1 hotel open. :-(
Disneyland Anaheim still closed.
Disney World suffering from restrictions with finishing ride builds due to...
I'm guessing Phantasialand will cancel Wintertraum completely.
Still surprised to see Blackpool Pleasure Beach open with all the restrictions and tier 3 malarkey. Perhaps it is just for furlough staffing reasons. No idea. The weather has been terrible last few weeks too.
Most other UK parks...
So the mantra is going to be the same all over Europe: close everything but the schools. Cases and deaths still rising.
The latest comment I saw on the vaccine is negative...
I'm glad we are getting closer to a vaccine and I hope that is definitely going to happen.
At the same time I am very concerned with the turn the leaders have taken in the UK with what I think are very draconian rules.
Look at the 5 tier thing in Scotland for example. They constantly restrict...
You are asking very fair questions but regarding your last point, I do agree with that but it is also quite radical to continue with the closure of many businesses.
I honestly think the Wales not being able to buy a kettle or fresh bedding thing is completely nuts.
What if your washing machine...
I see little value in polling to be honest. They were very wrong in 2016 (twice) and last year leaving Labour in the UK with the least amount of seats in a lifetime whilst polls suggesting for months Corbyn even had a chance at becoming Prime Minister.
Several leaders from around the world...
We have a national strategy, yet the virus is still spreading. So what is next? More localised strategies too:
Ah... you can't buy a kettle or bedding because those are non essential. Really? Who decides what is non essential. What if your washing machine breaks and you need more bedding...
