When is Thunderbolt going to open?

Well, I'm going to be in New York from June 6 to June 12, and I was hoping to ride Thunderbolt at some point while I was there. I was just wondering if anyone knows when they plan to open it. I've had trouble finding it online so if anyone could help, it would be very appreciated.

As far as I'm aware a specific opening date has not been announced. I know that Zamperla/Luna Park want to get it open in time for summer vacation with all the kids in NYC getting out and going with their families. NYC lets out around the 20th, iirc but I wouldn't rule out opening earlier.

Well, I'm in New York currently and saw that it was scheduled to open Friday June 6. Considering it's Sunday June 8, I am not sure if it is going to be open. I was wondering if anyone has any news when it might actually open to the public. Any new at all would be appreciated because I would certainly like to ride it while I'm here.
