I am 15, sophomore in HS, geting my first car soon. 1997 Pontiac Trans Am LT1 <3. What was your first car?

'92 Eagle Summit Wagon. It was actually pretty cool, but had more problems than a 16 year old was willing to fix.

That looks awesome. I love that late 60's/early 70's design of cars. Great paint job too

My first actual car was an Austin Metro. Absolutely abysmal car, but very very cheap.

The first car I drove regularly was my Dad's Triumph Acclaim. That was pretty bloody awful too.

I got a 2000 Ford Fiesta just before my 17 birthday. Not as interesting as some of the classics other people have got, but it was cheap and drove very well. Like most new drivers in the UK, insurance is ridiculous for anything much over a 1 liter engine, so most of us end up with small hatchback cars. It went to lots of CF lives and has given many a CFer a lift over its 5 year lifespan with me.

I loved it and took it rallying during University, which won me the championship trophy for two years in a row.

Sold it about 2 years ago to another first time driver only a couple of miles away and occasionally drive past it to keep an eye that its still in their drive. :wink:

No, it was given to me by a friend in 1977. Well, not actually given since I did trade a pair of speakers for it.
