Hi guys,

I have a bit of a quandry!

Last night I used tandoori spices, and yoghurt to marinate my chicken, only instead of the whoe chicken portions you'd normally use for tandoori, I used diced breast like you'd normally use for Tikka. It was delicious.

Now - I'm not sure what to say I had, should I go with the overall "presentation" and call it a Tikka, or go with the spices and call it a tandoori? Or should I call the dish something else - Maybe a Tindoori?

If it wasn't cooked in a clay oven then it's not tikka or tandoori.

You, my friend had diced chicken breast marinated to a 'tandoori' taste.

Remind me next year to suggest "The pedants award" for the CF Awards :p

I have no idea Dan, Indian food to me tastes of brown. Mild brown, slightly spicy brown, hot brown a **** me with a red hot poker brown.

My taste buds have no reaction to the flavours beyond heat level.

When I saw C_D made a topic called "What did I have for dinner", I was expecting more than four poll options.

Give it one of those fusion style names that are favoured by people who like minimalist living spaces with wooden floors throughout, magnolia walls and enjoy weekend city breaks in southern Europe.
