yeah. It's a long refurb, but it really is needed. Most of the effects did not work. The soundtrack and videos did not work. The entire ride was down for 3 straight days. These were the issues that happened when I was there in August.

Sorry, but I think they have really missed the mark.
It looks visually impressive (That said, the old industrial test track theminng was cool anyway) but in the process the actual ride experience and storytelling seems to have been made lot less "fun" than the old version.
A ride has to be more than pretty theming.

The new version looks bad it looks tacky. I can't believe they got rid of the heat and cold chamber, I much prefer the old one.

I love the new queue-line and area music (far, far better on the ears than the old music), and the concept of designing your own car and going on to test it in a futuristic computer-world works well and feels a lot more Epcot-y.
I would have liked to see them keep the hot/cold chambers, but otherwise it seems like a very refreshing update to a ride which felt very outdated earlier this year.
