How many trains does it have? If it only has 2, won't capacity be a nightmare?

And what do you mean, rattle? I thought these Macks were smooth?

2 Trains is plenty for the attendance MW gets, and pretty much all non B&M hypers run two trains anyway (The Intamins being the most notable example)

It's not rough as I said, but it feels like it rattles a bit sometimes, which people have said about Helix.

Quite interesting to see they use seat belts to secure the restraints unlike other Mack coasters.

The seatbelts are only the secondary backup

Can't you do that on basically any B&M with a CYA seatbelt? Or any seatbelt for that matter? The restraints lock by themselves. The "seatbelt" is just in the 0.00000000001% event one were to come open.

So, kind of like Flight of Fear or other Premier launched looping coasters?
(1st gen restraints, not 2nd gen [Sky rocket])

I think it's more similar to basically any other coaster with crotch belts, for example sky Rush, inverted coasters and so on. The belt comes from between your legs and goes into the main part of the harness.

In Australia all rides above a certain speed and G-Force threshold require a secondary restraint system to meet the amusement ride standard here.

It's also such that the guest cannot undo the seatbelt themselves. On the Intamins here a pin pops up after you clip the belt, preventing you from doing the pinch to unbuckle.

On DC Rivals and Arkham Asylum there's a locking mechanism inside the slot.

Also....Mack and VRTP CEO on it

Omg, guys, I clearly know it's not there for security reasons and is literally a backup just in case. :emoji_zipper_mouth:'s sake.

My point is: it's the first Mack Megacoaster to feature them as far as I am aware.

I wonder if Mack will use these belts for their future coasters or this is just a one-off. If the new system has been designed with quick dispatches in mind, I guess we're fine.

It will be interesting to see, but if Gazza is correct here (which I have no reason to dispute), then this might just be a "local" thing for this particular installation.
