I laughed waaaaaaaaaaay too much at this, well played
Some better shots from about the same point in construction. Sure is big.
me, that's massive!
The colours are also lovely!
That. Zero. G. Tho.
A few more pictures from inside the park.
Great. Another Chinese park themed to China by the looks of it. For f**k's sake.
Strange things afoot at Wanda Wuxi as Wanda announced changes in the plans.
The park plan has changed a fair bit. The B&M wing and Mack launched coaster are still there (handy because they are both on site) and a Zamperla indoor coaster will join them.
However the Intamin Impulse has been moved to another park (Chengdu seems likely since theyve announced an Inverted coaster but who knows)
Old park plan (top) and new park plan (bottom)
In other news the B&M is complete but best pic I have is this.
Another small update as concept art for the redesign has been released.
Firstly though this the indoor Zamperla Coaster with multimedia effects.
And here's the rest of the art for the overall park, B&M Wing Coaster and Mack Blue Fire clone.
Is the indoor Zamperla the Factory Coaster model that they showcased at IAAPA a couple of years ago? I think CoasterForce uploaded a video, but I'm not sure.
Looking at it, I think it is.
I believe it is a modified version of that yeah.
As for the B&M.
It ain't small.
Is it just me, or does that kind of resemble GateKeeper at Cedar Point?
Does it have a splashdown of some description (I'm assuming it's going to be a 'fake' one)?
Apart from the fact it's blue, not in any way, no.
That looks fab, I want.
Must just be me, then. Oh well. It looks great! Also, did I imagine this, or will this be near to 200ft tall?
EDIT: A look on RCDB says it will be 196.8ft tall, so close enough to 200ft, then.
Another round of really rather nice pictures from Wanda Wuxi.
Would that be the world’s largest Zero G by any chance? I can’t think of a taller one off the top of my head..
I like the look of that funky last inversion! Seems like B&M enjoys experimenting a bit with those Flying/Wing coaster rolls.
