I know it isn't going to be the biggest or best new coaster of 2014, but I'm really looking forward to riding this baby.

It all reminds me of Twister at Gronalund: Such tight turns and airtime hills packed together.

Don't think I've ever been looking forward to riding a family coaster as much as this baby.

An interesting point. A few years ago, whenever I read the word "family", I would tut, roll my eyes and chuck in a big dose of meh. Nowadays I'm more excited in the unique, tamer, family-friendly (read: lower minimum rider height limit) coasters.

Whenever a intense beast of a coaster is announced, the hype goes through the roof. "At last, something for us!" and we drool over massive inversion construction images. The expectation is always high. When it opens, the coaster rarely lives up the hype and we feel slightly disappointed.

With a family coaster, we are aware from day one that it's not going to blow our socks off, but at least it should entertain us and be fun.

I'm not sure if you feel the same way, ECG, or is it because Roar-O-Saurus just looks mildly sexy?

Family coasters have changed over recent years and I don't "mind" riding the newer ones at all, but I'm also someone who doesn't get disappointed by hyped-up major new coasters because I just don't get wrapped up in all the fanaticism. I generally take coasters for what they are and enjoy them for what they offer. Maybe that's why I have no problem with "thrilling" family coasters not meeting expectations that other enthusiasts bestow upon them.
People got upset with Cheetah Hunt and Firechaser Exprress because they were expecting them to be more extreme, but I really enjoy both of them because I think they really excel at offering an exciting ride that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age.
As for this one, I'm looking forward to it more so because I like Wooden Warrior at Quassy and Roar-O-Saurus looks like it's a further step up in terms of layout and airtime, at least that's what I'm hoping for. But I won't be disappointed if it isn't because I know it'll be a good ride regardless.

Indeed, I also can't wait to ride this come July. Storyland is a fantastic family park and is a place I grew up to going every summer in the late 80's early 90's with a few trips here and there in the 00's. Annddd based off how amazing Wooden Warrior ended up, its almost a sure thing Roar-O will be great.

I think I'm starting to become a bit took excited for this  I've never ridden Wooden Warrior, but this looks a bit better. It looks like something I can ride all day and not get tired of it.

The train is on the track and testing should begin soon, if it hasn't started already,

I love the design, the hands holding over the front wheel bits is a nice touch.
