Stealth Rope

Hey people,
This has probably been asked before but i cant find it, however i do apologise if this question is already in exsistance. Just got back from Thorpe today, I've noticed it before but never botherd to ask. Whats the Bungee rope/rope on stealth all about? It like starts at the tophat and goes all the way down to the ground. I cant think of anything apart from it gives the ride more stability.

How would a flimsy rope give a 200ft beast of a structure more stability? :lol:

Its a rope that you can winch up and down to get to the top of the tophat. That is its purpose..
