Point Pelee, not my favourite place, but my mom loves it so we went for Mother's Day. It's a Provincial Park that hosts the most Southern tip in Canada, so enjoy. Oh and you can also see Point Pelee from the top of certain rides at Cedar Point, on clear days, which is a fun fact.
Sooo, I drove fourty minutes there, woo, and then I got there, and realized how RIDICULOUS admission is:
And then, I parked!
.. At a beach
Which has disgusting water.
So then, I walked to the trolley place, where me, my mom, and sister took a ride on it. It brought back memories from when I was a youngstaa.
Then we arrived at...
Nice greeting, but then a sign is behind it which isn't so lovely.
Unfortunately, and rudely, I laughed.
Then I took pictures of nature.
And then I got bored and took pics of me instead.
But then, I got to the TIPPP!
The currents are insane, even the birds can't fly over them.
On the walk back, people had big cameras, so I took a pic.
Some of them looked like cannons (as in, big actual war cannons, not the Canon brand camera)
Then we went to the nature centre.
My mom HATES praying mantis'
Yeeyuh, Canada is big.
Then we went to this one trail, with lots of old stuff and creepy pictures:
That's the DeLaurier house. They had eighteen kids, so clearly they got busy a lot.
But then, I saw a spider in their window.
Some random stuff on the trail:
Then, we were off to the boardwalk, but first I was hungry so we stopped at the cafe:
WHICH WAS CLOSED. Well, open, but not serving food :S .
So we went up the tower instead:
..And looked down.
For those of you who think Canada is all mountains, you're sadly mistaken.
Walking on the boardwalk, more funny signs were to be seen:
Little did I know, we were about to see Wall-E
Here's a few more pics:
And then we peaced out.
