According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Rabbit's_Car_Toon_Spin Tokyo Disneyland's "Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin" closed on May 18th 2009 to be replaced by Kingdom Hearts: The Ride. I am a big fan of Kingdom Hearts and, even though anybody can change wikipedia, I'd like a definate answer.
So, does anyone know if Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin at Tokyo Disneyland has closed? And if so, is there any reason to believe that Kingdom Hearts: The Ride will take it's place?

Screamscape doesn't have any reference whatsoever to this either...

I would go so far as to say that at this time Wikipedia has led you astray. If it were to be getting such a massive overhaul and relaunch there would be press and and so on announcing so. Especially since the work is taking place very very soon. The ride closes for maintenance on 18th May, reopening in July.

Ollie did you even read the subsequent posts?

At the moment it is just a wikipedia comment and no "actual" evidence has been found to support it!

Indeed, the idea certainly is. I think the games are pretty damn cool too.

If anywhere were to see this become a reailty then I would imagine Tokyo is the place we would see it. Considering the games origin and so on. I guess now would also be a good time with the rumoured 3rd game too.

One of the things take did get my mind ticking when I initially read this would be the storytelling process and how exactly they would make Kingdom Hearts fit into ToonTown. The only way I could think would be to follow the first games' search for Mickey and follow it from (or at least beginning with) the Goofy and Donald perspective as appose to the game start with Sora.

Either way, the idea is fantastic, but unlikely. I don't think it is even closed long enough for that kind of retheme.
