^^ Yeah G Force is really bad, but Furmule X was completely awesome!!
I think you got that the other way around, Rage is a clone of Falcon, Falcon was already testing as they started to lay the foundations of Rage :)

^ I have no idea what you are talking about :--D
Yeah, that talk have something to do with those images, we have loads more of you need to make your case again :)

Day 4, part 1
A very strange place indeed...

First stop of this super hot day was at Bobbejaanland, which was really nice since there was a lot of shade in the park compared to the second park of the day...
It was at this park where we had the strangest encounter with the locals. Some old Belgian guy joined us at the queue to the ticket booth, he didn't know any English and we didn't know any Dutch, but after a while doing a lot of hand gestures and trying to speak with him in several languages we discovered that he had a buy one/get one free ticket with him, which meant that he wanted to go with one of us into the park :) and of course we got him into the park :)
We met him a couple of times in the park while waiting for the big rides :)
Just an awesome experience :)

Well onto pictures...

euro200925_13.jpg

For once we arrived just before opening, since one of our GPS always underestimates the time it take to go somewhere...

euro200925_07.jpg

Look another power coaster, but we will get to that one later

euro200925_08.jpg

There is some strange in the background

euro200925_01.jpg

Since we were having a bit of a theme on riding Eurofighters then we started with this one

euro200925_09.jpg

Look they where even waiting for us :)

euro200925_10.jpg

But first some testing...

euro200925_12.jpg

W00t!! an Eurofighter with spinning cars!!

euro200925_13.jpg

A few days ago we went on the oldest of these coasters, and today the second oldest

euro200925_14.jpg

It's a mess of track

euro200925_16.jpg

Nice powerful helix

euro200925_15.jpg

We got on the second car and we quite liked it, but...

euro200925_17.jpg

This place have a ride I have been dying to try, a Huss Fly Away, and contrary to the reviews I herd from people on the TPR euro trip last year, we had a blast on it

euro200925_18.jpg

Another giant spinny swinging ride, but as always smaller are better...

euro200925_02.jpg

Next up was Revolution

euro200925_03.jpg

But to get there we had to pass this guy

euro200925_38.jpg

It's their new observation "tower" ride...

euro200925_39.jpg

I guess that we should follow this sign, and we did, and the best thin is that we found an AWESOME!! Vekoma enclosed coaster in the other end

euro200925_04.jpg

If you are taller then 2.50 meters you will get electrocuted :)

euro200925_20.jpg

Speedy Bob was next

euro200925_19.jpg

What is wrong with this picture...

euro200925_06.jpg

Then we past into Mexico or there around...

euro200925_22.jpg

And found this Himalaya type ride, but they were having lunch when we wanted to ride it...

euro200925_23.jpg

I spy some thing that comes from V...

euro200925_25.jpg

YAY a suspended coaster

euro200925_26.jpg

Too bad that these floorless trains are really bad!!!!

euro200925_27.jpg

They are like being stabbed in the back...

euro200925_28.jpg

Wonder if Eagle Fortess would get this floorless treatment, I hope not...

euro200925_29.jpg

They had Aquarious, but not the awesome version they have in Japan :(

euro200925_24.jpg

Look another Vekoma

euro200925_11.jpg

This might be one of the best coasters in the park

euro200925_30.jpg

We had a great laugh about the GP in the back, they were scared to death about falling out of the coaster, so they everything they could to staple themselves...

euro200925_31.jpg

Inside that building is the last credit for this park

euro200925_32.jpg

We were treated on several extra runs, since there was no queue

euro200925_33.jpg

We found a shooting dark ride, but since they weren't keeping any score then we thought it sucked pretty bad

euro200925_34.jpg

Anyway back to Typhoon for another ride

euro200925_35.jpg

This time around it had warmed up...

euro200925_40.jpg

And the ride had turned from a great ride to real pain

euro200925_36.jpg

Looks good though

euro200925_37.jpg

Hmm, is it supposed to be that way??

euro200925_41.jpg

Bye Bobbejaanland for this time!!

Next up part 2.

Day 4, part 2
I loose my GCI virginity (part 1)!!!!

Now came the time I was waiting for quite some time, it would be the first time I rode a true GCI. Sure I have some experience with 2 coasters that have been re-tracked by GCI, one that was running great :) and one they had completely ruined :( , but that's not the same.

So yeah since we are still in the Netherlands it could only mean one thing, TROY!!!

Well when we bought our entrance tickets, my brother asked if Bas was working that day, and unfortunately he wasn't :( , then they told us that Troy would close at 5 pm, we had no idea why they thought that we wanted that information... :)
Well that meant that we had to get as many rides as possible in the 2+ hours we had until 5.

euro200925_42.jpg

Getting close...

euro200925_43.jpg

Getting closer...

euro200925_44.jpg

TROY!!!

euro200925_45.jpg

First droppage, drool!!

euro200925_46.jpg

Through the buildings for some Troy action

euro200925_47.jpg

Hmmm, is there anyone here at all??

euro200925_48.jpg

Ahh, the people in the park are riding the coasters..

euro200925_50.jpg

Already got that credit

euro200925_51.jpg

Too bad that leaning forward isn't the best position to experience airtime in...

euro200925_53.jpg

Half indoor, half outdoor flume ride

euro200925_49.jpg

But this is the reason why we are here

euro200925_52.jpg

Getting closer!!

euro200925_54.jpg

These coasters looks really nice up close

euro200925_55.jpg

Mmmm, turnaround

euro200925_56.jpg

They even have a wooden horse

euro200925_57.jpg

Nice triple crossover

euro200925_58.jpg

Hmm, either there is a load of people with cloaking devices or we might get loads of rides today :)

euro200925_62.jpg

I'm guessing that we will get a load of rides today, YAY!!

euro200925_59.jpg

Waiting for the back row :)

euro200925_60.jpg

Brake nerd shot!!

euro200925_61.jpg

OOoooOOoouu!!, magnetic brakes!!

euro200925_63.jpg

A load of riders having a great time

euro200925_64.jpg

Hmm, does this classify the ride as an enclosed coaster...

euro200925_65.jpg

So 20+ rides and a short rain shower later, it was time to leave Troy

euro200925_69.jpg

Really nicely themed coaster

euro200925_67.jpg

Great ride

euro200925_68.jpg

Awesome setting

euro200925_70.jpg

Bye horsie

euro200925_66.jpg

True GCI's looks so sexy!!

euro200925_71.jpg

Before we left we gave the indoor coaster some love

euro200925_72.jpg

Did I say the parks was empty??

euro200925_73.jpg

Random stuff outside

euro200925_74.jpg

Great looking ride

euro200925_75.jpg

And we finish this day with a panorama shot of one of the best wooden coasters in Europe.

Day 5
A load of small parks

This day were more of a transport section on the trip, from Aachen to Mannheim, we had scheduled 2 stop, but it suddenly became 3 :) after we decided to turn of the Autobahn earlier then the GPS wanted, but the GPS avenged our decision by sending us on some tiny roads on several mountainsides.
Too bad that I lost some of the images on this day in a file transfer accident so I cant show pictures of that... :(

Anyway back to the parks for today.
First stop was a place called Mondo Verde, the park is like a small zoo with loads of themed sections to various places on earth (which we didn't bother to look at), the park seemed like a pretty new and they that had just bought their first coaster for this season, it wasn't a new credit for us though... :)

We were talking to one of the ride ops at the place and she were mighty impressed that we knew so much about the ride and that we had traveled all the way from Sweden to ride it :)

Pictures from Mondo Verde:

euro200926_07.jpg

I spy a credit!!

euro200926_09.jpg

Hmmm, it looks strangely familiar...

euro200926_10.jpg

Where have I seen this one before...

euro200926_11.jpg

Woohooo!! it's Cirkus Expressen from Liseberg, my first ever credit

euro200926_12.jpg

It's so strange to see it so nude

euro200926_13.jpg

Still gives some lovely air in the back

euro200926_14.jpg

Wiiii

euro200926_16.jpg

They haven't bothered to put up the roof

euro200926_04.jpg

Looks so nice at the new place

euro200926_17.jpg

Have a happy life here

euro200926_05.jpg

Buy now

euro200926_15.jpg

The park had some other rides that weren't operational at the time we went there

They had some animals between the entrance and the coaster so we shot some images of them:

euro200926_01.jpg

Some cat kind a thingy

euro200926_02.jpg

Some animals with spikes

euro200926_03.jpg

Some kind of Bird

euro200926_08.jpg

Hmmm, it almost looks like we are the guys to hire if someone is going to make a web page with images of back ends of animals :)

euro200926_06.jpg

Inside the Tropical section in the park we saw this sign

euro200926_18.jpg

They weren't joking!!

euro200926_19.jpg

Some nice looking birds

Then on the way to the next park, we saw signs pointing towards Nürburgring, and we couldn't stay back at this point so we headed in that direction, and after randomly drive around the race track we spotted something interesting:

RR_2009-05-26_00001.jpg

Loads of supports and track

RR_2009-05-26_00002.jpg

And even more supports

RR_2009-05-26_00003.jpg

Installed track

RR_2009-05-26_00004.jpg

What will become the tall turnaround

RR_2009-05-26_00005.jpg

Just some straight track

RR_2009-05-26_00006.jpg

And parts of the section between the station and the launch

Then after navigating some strange small steep!! roads with impossibly tight corners it was time for our final stop before we headed to the hotel in Mannheim.

The place was no other then Klotten which is home to the famous Heiße Fahrt coaster. We were very unlucky with the weather that day by the fact that it was extremely windy, which meant that we were only allowed to ride the coaster with at least 3 people in it and it almost stalled several times along the route, which meant that the ride wasn't as good as it could have been :( , but it was still pretty awesome.

euro200926_36.jpg

Entrance

euro200926_21.jpg

We made our way towards the credit

euro200926_23.jpg

The cars were really dragging their way around the final helix

euro200926_24.jpg

I wish that the wind would have been weaker so that we would have more speed over these humps

euro200926_25.jpg

Another load of happy riders

euro200926_26.jpg

Gerstlauer are the masters of spiraling drops

euro200926_27.jpg

This was the best section of the ride (because the lack ow wind to slow us down)

euro200926_29.jpg

Now you see the car

euro200926_28.jpg

Now you don't

euro200926_30.jpg

Nice and low

euro200926_22.jpg

We also rode the water slides

euro200926_31.jpg

We got some rides on the Nutical Jets

euro200926_32.jpg

SPLASH!!

euro200926_33.jpg

And the crazy cableway

euro200926_34.jpg

Man this looks cool

euro200926_35.jpg

The location of Klotten is pretty awesome!!

Next up EUROPA PARK!!

Day 6, part 1
It's all about blue fire!!

Today was the big day, the great return to Europa park to ride one of the most eagerly awaited rides for this year, blue fire Megacoaster!!
This was also the main reason why we bought the Liseberg season pass, since we got free entry here as well :)

Since my last visit I only really liked one coaster at Europa park, and that was Eurosat, no other coaster in the park gives such an amount of riding pleasure then that, and no Silver Star is one of the worst coasters I have ever ridden (this opinion haven't changed after some rides of it this year). But now there is blue fire, and OMG it's the best coaster in the park by miles. It ticks all the right boxes, smooth, fast, great launch, awesome inversions/direction changes, superb themeing and the trains/restraints are some of the best I have experienced on this kind of coaster. Mack are really on to a winner with this concept, no Intamin accelerator coaster comes close to this one in re-ride ability and fun for a large portion of a family.

Both thumbs up from me, I almost dare to say that it might be the best new coaster for 2009.

We managed 5 rides on it, the first one in the front row was really great and the remaining 4 in the last 2 cars were equally awesome.
The best bits of the ride are the tight over bank after the loop and the inline twist.

Now on to some drooling over pictures of blue fire and more!!

euro200927_02.jpg

At the hotel we spotted this car and wondered if he was scared to get lost :)

euro200927_03.jpg

After about an hours drive we spotted something in the distance

euro200927_04.jpg

Screw Silver Star, it's all about blue fire

euro200927_05.jpg

Hmm, when did the Germans nick Colosseum from Rome??

euro200927_06.jpg

That's more like it

euro200927_07.jpg

The location where we parked

euro200927_08.jpg

It's such a "mehh" coaster

euro200927_09.jpg

This is the main reason why it sucks so much

euro200927_01.jpg

First we got an awesome ride on Eurosat

euro200927_10.jpg

They even had a Space shuttle here, hi Chris :)

euro200927_13.jpg

We walked past Poseidon

euro200927_14.jpg

And while we did that we saw a SPLASH!!

euro200927_15.jpg

Euro Mir is not my favorite coaster

euro200927_16.jpg

But they have a cool space station

euro200927_17.jpg

So we treated it with a ride

euro200927_18.jpg

But that's the main reason why we are here

euro200927_19.jpg

If you ever though an Intamin looked good, then have a look at this!!

euro200927_20.jpg

It gives great airtime here

euro200927_21.jpg

It was only a 40 minutes wait all day with 3 trains, so we had to walk for a while

euro200927_22.jpg

But it doesn't matter since you can get great photos from the queue

euro200927_23.jpg

See what I mean

euro200927_24.jpg

Again

euro200927_25.jpg

Looks a bit funky, but rides great, it's like a sideways B&M hill (but much better)

euro200927_26.jpg

One of the best bits on the ride

euro200927_28.jpg

Dive Dive!!

euro200927_12.jpg

Rise!!

euro200927_11.jpg

Final turn

euro200927_29.jpg

Loop

euro200927_30.jpg

Pretty rubbish picture, but it's blue fire so I don't care

euro200927_31.jpg

There will be many of these kind's of pictures here :)

euro200927_32.jpg

Likewise with these

euro200927_33.jpg

Even more airtime

euro200927_34.jpg

You get so close to the rock at so many places

euro200927_35.jpg

OMG, we are going to crash

euro200927_36.jpg

Sideways floater is awesome

euro200927_37.jpg

-1,5 g's here :)

euro200927_38.jpg

Nice

euro200927_39.jpg

This turn is extra awesome since you don't have OSTR's to bang your head against

euro200927_40.jpg

Same goes for this location

euro200927_41.jpg

Some of the most comfy seats on a coaster ever

euro200927_42.jpg

It's just looks so good

euro200927_43.jpg

Zoom!!

euro200927_44.jpg

Whoosh!!

euro200927_45.jpg

I can see my house from here!!

euro200927_46.jpg

Man that thing is gorgeous

euro200927_47.jpg

This thing rides like a dream...

euro200927_48.jpg

hope that I never wake up

euro200927_49.jpg

If this would have been an Intamin it would hurt like hell

euro200927_50.jpg

But since it isn't, then Wiiiiii

euro200927_51.jpg

'I will never get tired of these shots

euro200927_52.jpg

Take the tunnel!!

euro200927_53.jpg

A cool way to take aerial shots

euro200927_54.jpg

Twisty

euro200927_55.jpg

Did I say it was fast!!

OK, brake nerds be sure to have a towel close by:

euro200927_56.jpg

euro200927_57.jpg

euro200927_58.jpg

If that won't make you sweat then nothing will :)

euro200927_59.jpg

Absolutely awesomeness

euro200927_60.jpg

Everything must come to an end sadly :(

euro200927_61.jpg

This is the most awesome inline twist ever, it really whips you around

euro200927_62.jpg

Getting there

euro200927_63.jpg

Also some really snappy transitions

euro200927_64.jpg

Inversion!!

euro200927_65.jpg

Airtime!!

euro200927_66.jpg

Pure filth!!

euro200927_67.jpg

Brakes again

euro200927_76.jpg

Now to leave blue fire for a while for some other pictures

euro200927_77.jpg

But I can always treat you with some extra blue fire first :)

euro200927_78.jpg

You can almost touch the rock

euro200927_79.jpg

POWER!!

euro200927_80.jpg

Mmmmm delicious

euro200927_81.jpg

Massive loopage

euro200927_84.jpg

I really think we needs to see something else for a while

euro200927_85.jpg

Look a log flume

euro200927_86.jpg

And a power coaster

euro200927_87.jpg

And some bears

euro200927_68.jpg

The bears are guarding this mine

euro200927_69.jpg

Where they dig up valuable stuff

euro200927_88.jpg

Wait, those are just small mirror balls, so that's how they're made

euro200927_70.jpg

I'm guessing he is the boss

euro200927_71.jpg

Look a dragon

euro200927_72.jpg

Something, the thumbnails on photobucket are to small for me to tell what it is...

euro200927_73.jpg

Even more stuff

euro200927_74.jpg

Even more

euro200927_75.jpg

Does these never end

euro200927_82.jpg

Some water plaything

euro200927_83.jpg

They have some nice tow boats

euro200927_89.jpg

They even get you to Africa

euro200927_90.jpg

So this is how it is

euro200927_91.jpg

I'm not sure that we are welcome (or at least he isn't...)

euro200927_92.jpg

Poor doggy

euro200927_93.jpg

Beware they have crocodiles here as well

euro200927_94.jpg

Nice waterfall

euro200927_95.jpg

Monkey!!

euro200927_96.jpg

We left Africa and went to Switzerland instead

euro200927_97.jpg

Not as good as the the one at Heide park

euro200927_98.jpg

Looks nice though

euro200927_99.jpg

In there is what used to be the best coaster in the park

euro200927_103.jpg

They even have a giant radio telescope as themeing

euro200927_100.jpg

I can't take this anymore, NEED MORE BLUE FIRE!!!!

euro200927_101.jpg

That's more like it

euro200927_102.jpg

YAY

euro200927_104.jpg

It really blends in nice with the sky

euro200927_105.jpg

Mmmm, Twisted Horseshoe Roll

euro200927_106.jpg

The trains looks so good from every angle

euro200927_107.jpg

Atlantica SuperSplash wanted a picture

euro200927_108.jpg

Sexy

euro200927_109.jpg

Get ready for brakes!!

euro200927_110.jpg

Airtime hills without OSTR's are great

euro200927_111.jpg

Great piece of track there

euro200927_113.jpg

With train

euro200927_114.jpg

Looooop-deeee-looooooooooooooooop

euro200927_115.jpg

Corkscreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww

euro200927_116.jpg

The track penetrates the loop

euro200927_117.jpg

Sweet

euro200927_118.jpg

Other angle

euro200927_119.jpg

Nice

euro200927_120.jpg

Then suddenly some maintenance guy came out on the brake run to measure the temperature before and after a train pass by

euro200927_122.jpg

Swoosh!!

euro200927_123.jpg

I interrupt the drooling with a giant SPLASH!!

euro200927_124.jpg

Cool transport

euro200927_125.jpg

Too bad that this hunk of junk don't deliver any airtime

euro200927_126.jpg

It's pretty rough as well

euro200927_127.jpg

I hope they remove and build a blue fire clone in you place since it's awesome!!

euro200927_130.jpg

Buy Buy

euro200927_131.jpg

The final shot from blue fire, I miss you!!

Day 6, part 2
Awesome alpine slide!!

On the way back to the hotel we had found an alpine slide little less then an hour east of the park which we had decided to see if they still had it open when we arrive. Since the both of us were interested in how one of these track based ones ride.

When we arrived there was just a few kids riding the slide, and after we had gotten 2 of our 6 rides we bought, the owner wondered if we had the possibility to come back another day since it was just the two of us left, and they had some problem with too many slides in the "station" and not enough riders. But when we explained (in German) that we didn't have any chance of returning there and that we were from Sweden, then he just laughed and said that we could get our last rides and just let the cars pile up at the end :)

Really great service, and I can really recommend anyone to go there if you have some extra time after Europa park!!

Pictures:

euro200927_135.jpg

Awesome place, with really nice staff

euro200927_133.jpg

It's over 1 km in length

euro200927_128.jpg

You start with 3 lift hills!!

euro200927_129.jpg

Where the last one is insanely steep

euro200927_132.jpg

It almost go straight up

euro200927_134.jpg

Nice helices and other tight turns

euro200927_136.jpg

I really recommend this place, go there!!!

Wow, awesome pics of Blue Fire. Really want to go to Europa park now.

Those metal slide things with the lift hills are evil, don't like going on them one bit, glad you enjoyed that one though :) It did look epic.

Thank you all for the reply's!!

^^^^ I have no idea what you are talking about ???

^^ He he, it will be worth the wait :)

^ I really like the alpine slides, this was my first go on these railed versions, and I have to say that it took it slow in the beginning. But the later rides we just hammered it, it was like riding a mouse :)

Day 7 part 1
The beauty of silence

First park of the day were initially decided to be Holiday Park, since we would save some distance to drive on the way to the hotel that evening, but hansrubens told us to go there in the evening instead to give EGF a chance in warming up, so that it would give us a better ride then in the morning. So we looked at the planning and discovered that it wouldn't be that much longer to do Tripsdrill first so that was what we did.

Tripsdrill is one of those nice little small German parks with loads of themeing and some really ace rides.

Pictures:

euro200928_09.jpg

On the way in the morning we spotted a Concord, and behind the trees is a Tu-144, AWESOME!!

euro200928_10.jpg

Looking back towards G'sengte Sau and the flumeride

euro200928_27.jpg

Looks really nice

These guys looks really creepy

euro200928_04.jpg

See what I mean!!

euro200928_05.jpg

Hmm, do they expect that there are midget that are going to ride this one?? Why would you ever start with at 10 cm on a

euro200928_44.jpg

They weren't expecting a crowd today

euro200928_45.jpg

They have a pretty nice Rapids ride

euro200928_46.jpg

And a really nice loading system

euro200928_47.jpg

But the best bit must be the cannons

Day 7 part 2
Disappointed!!

So the second park of the day was Holiday Park, for some EGF action. We had already ridden it a few years ago so we knew what it was like, and even if we had ridden it on a warm summer evening, when they are running their "Summer Night's" openings (which means that they are open until midnight), we still weren't impressed with the coaster. Will this visit make any difference??

Well, no.

We were very disappointed with the rides, it had some severe shaking on some bits, and the trims completely killed the ride, we almost got more airtime on Silver Star then on the final bunny hops on EGF, and the train was seriously dragging itself around the last couple of turns :(
So in a way this visit changed my view of the ride, it dropped even further down in my ranking, and I'm almost ready to say that I like Thunder Dolphin more then EGF...

Pictures:

euro200928_50.jpg

I spy some tall rides behind those trees

euro200928_51.jpg

This is supposed to be one of the best coasters in the world??

euro200928_52.jpg

Looks quite nice though

euro200928_53.jpg

This was the only hill that gave us some great air...

euro200928_61.jpg

I'm not a big fan of that drop...

euro200928_06.jpg

I'm pretty sure that no one have this picture... :)

euro200928_07.jpg

These trims feels like a pause button...

euro200928_08.jpg

Wiii

euro200928_54.jpg

While waiting for the back row

euro200928_55.jpg

Looks nice

euro200928_56.jpg

Drop through the trees

euro200928_57.jpg

The better of the two coasters in the park :)

euro200928_59.jpg

Going for a spin

euro200928_58.jpg

These rides are really cool, scary, but cool

euro200928_60.jpg

The lower turn was taken way to slow

euro200928_61.jpg

DROP!!

euro200928_62.jpg

Lift hill stuff

euro200928_63.jpg

The second train had a T-bar transplant

euro200928_64.jpg

This must be a first, an image for the train senor nerds

euro200928_65.jpg

LOL, it even broke down for us

euro200928_66.jpg

Open says me :)

euro200928_67.jpg

We rode in this car

euro200928_68.jpg

Hmm, why do he have a skunk on his car??

Next up is one of the days with the most global warming...

Cool, Tripsdrill looks really nice, love the buildings and the way the coaster interacts with them.

Looking forward to the next part of your trip report.

Time for me to finally speak up...I was going to wait until the end, but I can't hold off any longer.
First I have to say - You don't have enough photos of Blue Fire!
Seriously, I can't wait until the kid & I get over there later this year. This trip report has not only increased the excitement building up for our trip, but I've decided to add a few more days to make sure we get it all in.
We were going to skip Tripsdrill, but not now. Plus we're adding a second day of Europa Park just to make sure we get enough rides on Blue Fire & can also get some time to ride Rodelbahn Gutach.
I so glad you took this trip as otherwise I have might regretted not taking enough time to get all this done.

Thanks for the comments!!

^^^ Tripsdrill is really nice, but I don't want to do a full day there, it worked out perfectly to do it together with Holiday park...

^^ I have more pictures of blue fire, but I though around a 100 would be enough for this time, I might post some more :)
Yeah some extra time might be in order, especially if you go during the vacation periods when the places are packed. We were quite lucky with the crowds, but most people had other stuff to do when we were there. We still had 40 minutes queues on blue fire that whole day, but I have a feeling that they will add a 4:th train when the main season starts, they were directing where people should sit (but I guess that you might be able to ask for a specific row though) too keep the throughput as good as possible with just 3 trains.
The people at Gutach Rodelbahn was lovely and really friendly. We had a really awesome time there.

^

Day 7, part 1
GCI virginity part 2

The best thing with this trip were that we not only was going to ride one GCI but 2, even better was that the second one was brand new, OK so it was the smallest of the GCI's but that don't really matter, heck there is several small coasters I prefer to their larger siblings, like the Mega-lites are way better then EGF imo...

When we first got up that morning it looked great, clear blue sky and a little chilly, but as we got closer to the park the sky just opened up the taps and the rain started to pour down, did this mean that the whole day was ruined and that we wouldn't get our credits for today??
We asked the lady in the ticket booth if the coasters were running, and she replied that so was the case, well we are not in the US or in Japan so that should be true, good for us that we came prepared for these kind of weathers :)

Pictures:

euro200929_17.jpg

Plohn is the place

euro200929_18.jpg

Note to other small parks in the EU, let EU upgrade your plans from kiddy coasters to large GCI's!!

euro200929_50.jpg

Looks like we should head in that direction

euro200929_19.jpg

As we got closer to El Toro, the rain stopped :)

euro200929_22.jpg

Which meant that the coaster was open!!

euro200929_20.jpg

The coaster passes just inches from the station

WARNING the younger audience should skip the next 2 images :--D
euro200929_02.jpg

euro200929_01.jpg

The Germans seems to love El Toro

euro200929_21.jpg

This section is strangely under banked, but that means loads of lovely lateral forces :)

euro200929_23.jpg

Here comes the train

euro200929_24.jpg

And there it goes

euro200929_03.jpg

After a few freezing cold but awesome rides on El Toro we headed for the other two credits in the park

euro200929_04.jpg

The first one is a Zierer Flitzer

euro200929_06.jpg

With nice themeing

euro200929_25.jpg

Entrance

euro200929_27.jpg

They run it with NO RESTRAINTS, awesome!!

euro200929_30.jpg

A complete mess of track

euro200929_31.jpg

We will walk past you again, but there is another credit somewhere

euro200929_32.jpg

That seems to be it

euro200929_34.jpg

YAY, a wacky worm, I haven't ridden one of these in months :)

euro200929_33.jpg

They had an animal enclosure next to the kiddy coaster

euro200929_35.jpg

Wonder what these ones tastes like??

euro200929_36.jpg

He was completely bored by our visit...

euro200929_31.jpg

They have a really nice looking train ride if you don't want to get wet

euro200929_11.jpg

Also some crazy rednecks

euro200929_52.jpg

The whole area was themed to an western village

euro200929_08.jpg

But this one don't seems to fit in...

euro200929_58.jpg

HOLY CRAP, BLUE SKY!!!!

And before we moved on the the next stop here is a giant load of ET images!!

euro200929_26.jpg

Really nice turn around

euro200929_07.jpg

Mmmmm

euro200929_09.jpg

Even if it was really cold this coaster delivered loads of fun, compared to others...

euro200929_10.jpg

It was like we had a park ERT session :)

euro200929_05.jpg

ET with some random stuff in the background

euro200929_28.jpg

Soon they will feel the force of a GCI

euro200929_29.jpg

Just after one of the best bits on this coaster...

euro200929_37.jpg

twisty airtime hill heaven

euro200929_38.jpg

This coaster not only have one, but TWO tunnels

euro200929_39.jpg

This coaster reminds me a little of Falken at Fårup

euro200929_40.jpg

This one is awesome (as is Falken)

euro200929_41.jpg

Zooom

euro200929_42.jpg

The section that follows this turn is great as well...

euro200929_43.jpg

It goes right under the flume ride

euro200929_44.jpg

It's really tight

euro200929_45.jpg

Sex right there

euro200929_46.jpg

Some guy was walking around the ride and tightening all the bolts :)

euro200929_47.jpg

TAKE THE TUNNEL!!

euro200929_48.jpg

WEEEEEEEEEeeeee

euro200929_49.jpg

It was really fun to see everyone, in sync, take down their hands before every tunnel

euro200929_51.jpg

Nice final section

euro200929_53.jpg

HERE IT COMES!!

euro200929_54.jpg

While waiting for one of the ops to fix his giant comb over, I snapped this image on the 3!!! airtime hills in a row

euro200929_55.jpg

This section might get re-tracked soon, since the lateral forces on this turn is very un GCI like

euro200929_56.jpg

One of the nice twisty sections that gives airtime

euro200929_57.jpg

Fast!!

euro200929_59.jpg

Even FASTER!!!!

euro200929_60.jpg

Oh did we mention the log flume??

euro200929_61.jpg

One last image on El Toro before we move on...

euro200929_62.jpg

Beware of this guy, he spits...

euro200929_63.jpg

Really nice entrance

euro200929_64.jpg

Cool, they have a space science museum in the area...

Next up is a place where you don't go for the coaster...
