Privacy Directive?

I'm getting a privacy directive on every page here. Is it safe to click agree on it or is it a hack attempt? It just started the other day, so I'm a little skeptical.

A new European law states that any website hosted in Europe has to to have users permission to store cookies. Something like that. It's not a hack, just a horrible, irritating thing that we have to deal with. Click agree. We know the current box isn't the best in the world, but at least we're compliant. :roll:

I'm finding this on a lot of other websites now, but they're nowhere near as annoying as the one on here!

I had the same thing, and I always x'd it out. Which was annoying since it popped up every single page but frankly I didn't trust it and figured it was some type of government tracking lol
Anywho, it stopped popping up, though I never clicked agree.

So I have no idea

It's pops on the school computers when i'm on My CF. Only slightly annoying though.
