I can't tell anything from that last pic, but I presume this new area is being built towards the back of the park, where them empty fields are?

Anyway, knowing Plopsa, this is probably going look pretty amazing!

Absolutely loving the concept art of the theming of the rides. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this and seeing how it turns out.

The new area will be build on the former theater location. The closed theater was a big blue (or pink before 2012) tent. There will also be a new theater building by the entrance, next to Mayaland.

Thanks for that. I was right then, yeah? I remember a pink tent towards the back (right) of the park. Near the Waveswinger and animal fields?

Indeed, you were correct . BTW: the track of the park train will have some big changes, to. It will skip the animal part and will go to anubis right after leaving the wizzy and woppy zone.

They've updated their Facebook profile with some new construction images.

So basically they've started constructing the new train station and laid down the foundations for the rides. I reckon they'll be aiming for a May opening (I'm pretty sure that's what they did with Mayaland).

Mayaland opened in July, and the theater and rides will to.

So turns out this isn't all the park is adding this year. I knew about the new theater being built (it's slowly coming together). However they are also adding a new area (includes several ride re-themes and prob not worth a new topic) for one of the company's other shows 'Kaatje'. The show looks very Plopsa...
