€12 million? With today's prices, that's a Rage clone or an Intamin Mine Train...
Oh, wait, we're not in Britain.

Hmm... Speed Monster was €7 500 000. Even adjusted to inflation, this should be something bigger. Anyone know how much a slightly modified Batman Clone is these days?

Toverland is in my list of Top 20 parks I want to visit...it's just bumped up in to the top 10!

Water coasters are not high on my list of exciting and thrilling rides and I'm always wary of budgets for them. Digging a big pool and pump system doesn't come cheap, so that usually drags away a substantial chunk of the budget from thrill and theme.

I may as well say it before everyone else does Aquatrax lol.

I really hope this is not a Mack Water coaster, I have yet to go on a good one.

Looks like it will be ready end of July.

From what I have seen of the outside part of the park they do not theme, so the money should mainly go on the coaster.

They most definitely do theme, and they do an arguably good job of it too! I'd call it 'simple but effective'. The log flume is awesomely themed, as is Troy:

You can't really see from the Troy photo, but the surrounding area and entrance to the coaster is really quite beautiful. I'd say on the whole I was rather impressed with Toverland's theming.

Infusion has "water effects", so it's plausible :p

This could be practically anything to be fair. The "water" references could be a way of misleading people ;)

^ Yeah, according to an employee at Toverland, then it can mean anything from a watercoaster to a splashdown effect like on a B&M to a fountain in the queue area...

^But we don't know if there'll be a Mega-Lite :p

Either way, it looks a good place to go... The log flume looks the most interesting as well...

Cheers Jordan I should have kept my mouth shut lol, I had only seen pictures of the rides not all the areas.

Well it's a better and more original rumour than Aquatrax :p

Maybe so, but it's quickly becoming like the old Aquatrax thing, same for Topple Tower ;)

At least Aquatrax could be a solution since they mention water :p

I remember that was the rumour which was doing the rounds last year but I don't remember hearing anything this year.

Its great that the park have got a big budget for this new ride and they want to expand again. If its to be more thrilling than Troy, I can't really see it being a watercoaster.

Anyone know what the two European parks are that are getting all new B&M's are?

I heard right after IAAPA, but I've gone and forgotten which they were...

Ok, so I know I haven't been, but...

Am I the ONLY person on here that thinks that, aside from Troy, Toverland looks **** ing horrible? Especially that fugly, indoor tin shed area?

There are two tin sheds, the first is essentially just a load of rides plonked inside. The second shed and the tunnel leading to the second shed however is win! Heavily themed, loads of climbing frames and stuff. Awesome.

I definitely get what you're saying. When I first pulled into the lot, I felt the same way. Then I realized that the place is simply a Family Entertainment Center that's outgrown its skin. After a 1/2 day there, it didn't bother me one bit, though.

I'm sure that as nice as most of it is, they might have some plans to 'freshen up' the outsides of the original buildings...

In the meantime, if they keep wanting to build (reportedly wonderful) coasters, I'm OK with the tin shed look for now.
