    The light package on that is fantastic! 2 points;

    There's no way it will run that fast into the brakes.
    Even the animated POV is predicting where the jolts on this Gerst will be :D

    Um... I don't see any jolts @DelPiero. Where are they?

    This looks like so much fun. Hopefully it turns out to be smooth.

    I'm sure it will be. I don't think it looks too bad from pictures and the animated POVs, although POVs don't tend to show jolts in the track.

    The overbank is complete, and the corkscrew is in progress.

    Agreed. The colour scheme looks great in the Boardwalk area of Knottā€™s, and twisty Gerstlauers are always very photogenic, in my opinion!

    A recent video with some nice HD close-up shots, including the holding brake:-

    Video by The Coaster Element.

    And the entire corkscrew is now in place looking at the Knott's live webcams. This mainly leaves the cobra roll and the first element to be installed.

    The little airtime hill/double down element will be great fun.

    Yay! Now all we need is for it to begin testing so we know when it's opening! As Smiler spent less than a month testing, I should think this will open in March, or around that sort of time.

    That probably wasn't enough considering how many problems it experienced. I would expect a 1 to 1.5 months of testing.

    The issues it had wouldn't have been solved by more rigorous testing, though. The structural issues it had only happened a good 6/7 months after it had been running.

    That colour scheme really pops with the surrounding rides. I like it!

    It looks like it's missing a few support pieces on the right side of the photo.

    Is this just a trick of the camera, or is it really just a teeny support to hold the loops together? Because if it is, I LOVE it!
