Cedar Fairs Kings Island and Kings Dominion both have a very good chance at getting new coasters for 2014. KI may get a giga coaster or a wing rider. But what about KD? Many were expecting a record breaking launch coaster for 2013, but instead we got a kiddie upgrade. lame. KD needs to step up its game. So what will it be? I've taken the top 8 categories of coasters in order of likeliness of the park getting them.
8. RMC Hybrid Coaster(Very Unlikely, Cedar Fair hasn't started installing these yet)
7. B&M Invert(Unlikely. One hasn't been installed in a cedar fair park for years.)
6. B&M Hyper Coaster(Doubtful. They have i305, they probably won't get one of these)
5. Strata Coaster(Possible. But that may take away from CP, so they probably wouldn't do that)
4. Record Breaking Woodie(Possible. Replace Grizzly, put in a record breaker like Outlaw Run)
3. Flying Coaster(Very Possible. KD doesn't have one, while many parks already have one)
2. Vekoma Boomerang(Possible. Dorney got one recently. It could happen. Its iffy though)
1. Wing Rider(Very Likely. If gatekeeper does well, then Cedar Fair may install another one at KI or KD. But KI is in Ohio, where Cedar Point is, while KD is a good 9 hours away. In fact, this is most likely going to be what it will be)
