How do trains stay attached?

Hi there everyone, how do the trains stay on the track? I mean, how can they be sure that they are always going to be attached properly? Like, in loops and stuff. Just wondering, that's all, I can't find the answer anywhere. :)

Do I have a link for you! :)

Essentially, there are three sets of wheels. The wheels you see on the track that the train normally runs on. Upstop wheels which clamp underneath he track (you'll spot them easily on most steel coasters, but on wooden coasters they tend to be on the inside out of view). Then there are side wheels which stop too much side to side motion.

It gets much more complicated, but top, bottom and side wheels is you answer :)

Also, it is never possible for the coaster train to leave the tracks unless an accident occurs. So those fools saying that a coaster left the tracks have no idea what the hell they are talking about. :)

There are some classic rides, especially in Europe, that do not have upstop pads. Few of these rides are in the US as well. The type of ride is a Side Friction roller coaster. Many of these rides are very slow, and None (as far as I know) have inversions. I know at least one of these rides has a Brakeman that rides in the back and controls the speed of the ride.
