We felt like a fancy hotel stay this weekend, but Hong Kong prices are stupid, so we came over to Shenzhen.

I saw this from the hotel window:





I'd been here back in 2007, when the park was still open, but this coaster was closed even then. The park has now closed completely, but we went down to have a look anyway. You can't even access the lake at all anymore, at least from the south end of it. Even the path next to it is fenced off, but I climbed through some bushes to get a look anyway.

Still disappointed in myself for not swinging by while I was in Shenzhen back in 2014. I've found this coaster's layout oddly interesting despite being very plain.

Can't imagine it'll stay up for too long with the development in the area, but I guess it's made it this far. Nice pictures.
