Guntersville, Alabama | Lake City Amusement Park

Unlike Blue Collar Country, which was supposed to open last year and definitely won't be getting rides anytime soon (if ever), it looks like this amusement park in northern Alabama will be opening this year with two coasters. They might just be a Dragon kiddie coaster and a Zyklon Galaxi, but a new park with credz is always a good thing.

Here is a photo of the Zykon Galaxi at it's former location before being dismantled. I can't tell which coaster it is from the photo and the park hasn't shred that info, but perhaps someone here might know which coaster/park this is:

In addition to the coasters, the park will also have eight flats (including a Fireball, Pirate Ship, Gravitron & Ferris Wheel) and a bunch of kiddie rides when it opens this April.

I asked them on Facebook where they bought the coaster from and they said it was new from the manufacturer.

I am excited to have a galaxi near me now since one of my first coasters was the Galaxi at white swan park.

Sad news from this little park... there goes my new Galaxi Cred

Our apologies to our community and our customers. Lake City amusement Park is closing permanently due to the fact that we lost our financial backing. we have exhausted all avenues in the search for another investor and we simply don't have the resources to carry on.

Damn! Should have gone there sooner. I was looking forward to something replacing Camden Park as the biggest piece of **** I've ever visited.
