Can't seem to find the topic in News & Rumours, so....

Anyway, a video of the new Wooden coaster at Fun Spot has been uploaded to YouTube:

Clearly its not going to be mind blowing, but it looks like good fun none the less!

GCI hybrid coaster? Never seen one of those before.

Also, might be the angles shown in the video, but the shape of that lift seems a little... wonky. Anybody have any explanation?
Other than that, though: Looks great!

They're expecting this to be open in February 2013, but the Invert isn't going to open until Summer 2014!

What a fun little "Great coaster", certainly quite fun and will suit Fun spots target market very well!

Update. The ride will be called "White Lightning".

White Lightning Stats:
Length= 2000ft
Height= 75ft
Max Speed= 48mph
Max drop= 58degress (world record coined “Claire Curve”)
Max bank angle= 90degrees (world record coined “Ariel Dive”)
Air time moments= apprx 18
Ride length= apprx 1:15min

The turnaround in that picture looks different to the one in the video. It's pretty highly banked at the entry as well, that'd be a load of fun if it is built like that.

That's the exit, it enters from the double up & double down according to the image.

"Ariel Dive" - I can't help but think it's meant to say "Aerial". If not, my OCD is kicking me.

After looking closely at the many different angles shown on TPR, I guarantee that you're gonna be tossed around in all different directions, especially on the run out.

Right now I'm confused as some of the comments on here conflict with the video although the video was obviously preliminary. The double up double down is definitely after the turnaround in the vid, questionable in the picture posted here. Regardless, I really like these fun little woodies going into small parks lately. Most of them seem like they pack a punch and I think this one will definitely have a few thrilling points.

Im glad to see GCI taking (what I deem) a risky manouver (this eord is spelled wrong, but I can seem to see where at ><) on their end.

It's not disputing, much, you said the highly banked section bit was the entry of the element, it's not, it's the exit of the element, that's all I was saying.
