I know coaster counts on things like racers are up to our own discretion, but I've been thinking about this and I'm interested to know what other people think.

The Matterhorn Bobsleds has two sides. Is it two credits?

I follow what the rcdb has to say on it. And in that case no though it does list them as separate tracks but not roller coasters. Idk it all comes down to preference and if your a credit whore or not

^ Totally agree.

I counted Matterhorn as two, because it's two seperate tracks and two seperate experiences. There are much trickier ones to discuss around the world..

Totally different tracks, but RCDB puts them together.

But see thats why I count them as one. Just look at the IOA park page on the rcdb.... http://www.rcdb.com/4734.htm

Existing roller coasters (4)

Yes they maybe listed as different tracks and I agree they are totally different in layout but in general they are built in the same park, same overall theme, same manufacturer, same ride type, same site, and built at the same time...not saying people who count them separately are wrong, its just I don't feel the need to. Both ways are justifiable.

If you count Dueling Dragons [Challenge] as one credit, you must either be stupid, or really don't care about your coaster count that much... Even the Hawker polls count them as separate!

The Matterhorn Bobsleds (note the plural bobsled) are 2 credits.

either that - or you only had time to ride one of them......

But in the film the students all tackled the same dragon. They may have had different names, colours and attacks, but yeah, they were one and the same.

They are two completely seperate coasters with two completely different layouts (much like Space Mountain in Florida may I add) so I just look at it that they are housed in the same building. Of course, it is ultimately up to you, but I count them as two credits.

Technically Phil, it has two seperate queues and on really busy days two seperate entrances on the other side of the 'mountain' :p
