Nemesis Inferno

Me, John and my Dad popped down to Chessie yesterday for fun times and to see how well Wild Asia has bedded into the park...
After the short wait for the gates to open we walked down to Vampire and straight onto the back row, unfortunately due to silly people in the next row my Dad didn’t get to get on the same train as me and John... Bad times...
Bubbles had no queue outside, so we did it whilst we were there, still crap... I hope Imperial Leather leave soon, but at least the staff are trying to make the best of it with a white lab coat and hard hat mix going on...
We then did Buccaneer which was it’s usual self...
We wandered up to the Furious Fire Dragon and did our first queue of the day of 30 minutes, which was good due to no fast-track being used, though as we reached the batching gate the new girl tried to split us up (John being the victim), but we told her no and she failed...
Indeed, a lot of the new people are very slow on Vampire and Fury, bad times...
You may also notice a lack of photos so far, well basically I didn’t get my camera out until after Fury, but I’m sure most of you know what Vampire, Bubbles, Buccy and Fury look like by now...
So next was Wild Asia, and we hit up the Tuk Tuks as it didn’t have much queue...
Unfortunately John’s video plan on the ride was denied by the zealous ride op... BOO!
We said a quick hello to Banyan before....
LORIKEETS!
They really love life...
After Lorikeet times, we headed to Dragon Falls and encountered Joey and Tim... The Elephant was fortunately not working enough today...
Peeking Tom was working today, nice to see Chessie fixing up old stuff like him...
Tomb Blaster followed where we saw old Matt Hitch bring our CF credits to 3... Horray... John then proceeded to absolutely hammer me and my Dad...
Rattlesnack followed, with now working sleeping hombres and snakes, though they need a good clean...
It’s still smooth this year as well, for a Wild Mouse of course but still...
Lunch in Pizza/Pasta was called...
After our pizzas, we headed into the zoo for animal times...
And of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to Chessie without Meerkat times...
We also had a look at the Safari area construction, it looks massive so far and they’ve already finished the exterior of the building which was just framework last month... Go Chessie...
After bumping into Joey and Tim again, as well as having Meerkat character SPITE, we headed for Kobra times...
After Kobra in a failed search for a costumed character, we decided to see the sea-lions and trail of the kings...
Epic times with the big cats were had, as they were all outside for once...
We found a character finally...
One of these meerkats is not like the others, one of these meerkats belongs to John...
Vampire was then queued for, though a slight delay occurred for some reason...
I like the new additions in the queue, although people climbing on them DOES NOT WANT!
We went back to Fury for one last ride and ended up with more epic times on it, 2 fantastically spinny rides on it today and possibly my best rides on it... Horray for Fury itself, but not the platformers...
After having Kobra t-shirt spite, I got a mug and keyring, and then we left...
Overall a brilliant day at the park at the usual pace of calm times... Also we all got the new AP refillable bottle for all year for £10 and can use it at any of the parks for free... Good Value, Merlin has it...
I look forward to the Safari area opening up later on in the year, and indeed, Wild Asia is still looking fab, though the Kobra queue needs a bit more shade, but that’s due to lack of trees...
Great day, now to wait for John’s TR...
