I can’t wait for the color fade on Year 2.
If you're trying to thank me for the extra effort just to give you a geography lesson, there's no need. It was absolutely my pleasure.
That Carolina sun can be unrelenting. I mean, a lighter copper won't be the END of the world.. right? RIGHT??!!?
The rendering was based on the ride in 2 years time.... just so people don’t get upset that it will no longer be rust coloured.
The rendering is definitely fainter - which is good! Looks more the part for the theme. Far better than Diamondback's formerly yellow lift hill supports.
That didn't fade at all!
I thought Diamondback opened in 2009?

Just to let everyone know, the camera has been moved so the entire coaster is in view:-
They certainly are moving. This is going to be a beautiful coaster. <3
Oh my! Some of those transitions look amazing!
And people scoffed at the fact I thought this would be the best ride of 2019! Please son! This has delicious written all over it!
I love how old-school the loop is. It's like a circular, Schwarzkopf style instead of a modern teardrop.
Well I'm getting tears by just looking at it!
Get it... cause it's a teardrop loop, and a lot of people think it's beautiful?
Quoted for solidarity. Can't wait to get on it!
Actually Schwarzkopf invented the teardrop shaped loop!
I agree; if Icon is anything to go by, then it should be amazing! Some of those curves look really fun, in my opinion; there should also be some good airtime and good forces in those circular loops! Combine that with Mack's usual high quality ride experience and they're on to a winner, if you ask me!
Never realized that! Now that I look at some Scharzkopf loops, I guess they do have a bit of a teardrop shaping. They always seemed circular to me at first glance, especially compared to some of the more modern ones.
Not sure if anyone noticed but the second loop will actually be clothoid (tear-drop shape), unlike the circular first loop.
