Oh damn that's one sexy shade of blue. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
Wow. Night and day appearance right there.
Well that was quick. From the park's Facebook:
It looks so nice!

It looks like Patriot is officially done being painted. From Thrills by the Bay:

How is a dive machine a bigger investment than a hyper or giga? Surely a hyper/giga would be a lot more expensive than an average dive machine.
Dive Machine's have massive track which costs a fortune and makes them significantly more expensive on a cost per meter of track basis but you're right on the balance of things a decent length B&M Hyper or Giga is at best around the same price, at worst a lot more expensive
Heres the rough cost of some rides for example.
Valravn 22m USD
Griffon 15.6m USD
Shiekra 13.5m USD
Fury 325 30m USD
Intimidator 23m USD
Diamondback 22m USD
Either way they are both very expensive. Of course other companies hypers may be cheaper
Hmm. I would have thought Valravn would have costed around $18-$19 million. Has an official figure been released yet?
Some rides such as Krake, Oblivion (Gardaland), and Baron 1898 utilize the standard B&M track due to the 6-across train.
The new floorless trians have arrived!
A round of applause for California Coaster Kings for being todays source
I do like the colour scheme on this coaster now. I think it's going to look excellent in the sun.
This is now testing:
So the ride's been open for about a week now, and a POV has been released:
It appears to ride about the same as Vortex, but at least it looks nice!
