BGE 250 Drop Tower 2011 and Multi-Launch Coaster 2012

Busch Gardens Europe have announced a 250 drop tower for 2011 which will be called Mach Tower.

And in 2012, a magnetic multi-launching coaster which will have many "firsts".

The announcement also notes new restaurants and theming and such for the Oktoberfest area.

Exciting stuff. That's a really decent height for a drop tower and apparently it will have a surprise at the top. Enclosed top maybe? As for the coaster, oooooo.

But BGE aren't claiming the multi-launches are what make it a first. It won't even be the first in the State. Could be any number of things that make it a "first".

Oh, I must've read it wrong, I thought it said worlds first multi-launched coaster along with many other worlds firsts.

Response to KD's "success" this year? Perhaps... Also will help prevent criticism over the drop tower, which is arguably a pointless decision with KD's taller one not very far away at all.

Either way, both projects seem very exciting.
