There’s a point at which a ride can be so bombastic in what it achieves then there isn’t really any need for it to have a well rounded layout:
- Stealth is absurdly short (in duration and height compared to its bigger brothers) yet punchy enough to stand on its own feet.
- Millennium Force...
It’s not all bad, there are nods to the old ‘slower parts’ in the new soundtrack still - for example, see from 3:00 in the below video (through to the end).
But granted, yes - there is a bit more of an ‘action shuffle’ to it.
In my feedback to the proposals I said that to truly create an attraction with global appeal, they really need to be able to build massive rides. No silly height requirements.
Why shouldn’t there be an Energylandia sized ride at this park? 🤷♂️ - I fail to see how one or two larger structures...
I would be surprised if the ultimate rights owners sleepwalked into a situation akin to the Marvel rights in Florida - I expect that there would be lots of caveats, provisos and renewals at play to preempt any negotiations of this nature.
Even if that wasn’t the case, I can’t see WB opting for...
Agree that it would be a mistake to make it ‘British’. I don’t really think the US parks are particularly ‘Murican….
Harry Potter is pretty much inevitable. Otherwise, I’d be hoping for an ‘Islands of Adventure’ / ‘Epic Universe’ style park rather than a ‘movies’ / ‘studios’ park.
Europa, quite easily… even if Alton had ‘old Nemesis’.
IMO strength of the collection is mostly dealt with by the strengths of its headliners (top 2/3) - no need to look beyond that.
I guess the speed will fluctuate all over the place depending on number of riders, temperature, rain etc.
It did feel broadly similar to me in respect of pacing - some of the rides were very intense so we still have that.
… what you definitely can hear in that reborn POV is that rattling /...
I’m not ‘absolute sure’ but I do think you can see a difference in these vids, which corresponds with what I described.
I’m specifically talking about the track between the loop and the final inversion.

The banking is relatively more consistent on the original, whereas...
Thoughts from my visit over the weekend:
I prefer the original theming of both the coaster and the area. Less is more. All the military stuff just chokes the sense of mystique and makes it feel generic. I personally despise anything military / top secret that has an air of “that’s classified!”...
If I’m honest I think this was a bogus move. It clashes hard with the surroundings.
It’s a bit like when you first decorate a room as a noob and buy a bunch of stuff that in isolation all looks cool - but when you bring it all together, it looks too ‘busy’ and like a bunch of things have been...
I don’t know much but I always thought RAP might work best as a Six Flags style ‘wait 80%-100% of the posted queue length outside of the queue / one electronic booking at a time / then return at the time slot’ sort of thing… it wouldn’t mean that people who can’t endure a queue don’t have to...
For anyone that’s familiar, was the rattle similar to the one found on Banshee? Because that was quite distracting…
Always found the OG really smooth (on the front as per my earlier comments).
Even having done SteVe, Gwazi, The Rod, i305 in previous months I came off those closing day rides...
