Six Flags Over Texas | Original Mr. Freeze is back

Another one bites the dust... When I visited in 2018, Mr. Freeze was closed for maintenance - definitely didn't expect it to be closing for good just 4 years later. It looked extremely unique and groundbreaking for the late 1990s, as well as one of Premier Rides' best coasters.

    Kings Dominion | Tumbili | S&S Freespin | 2022

https://kdfans.com/2020/kings-dominion-2021-roller-coaster-rumors-will-send-enthusiasts-into-a-spin/ The latest rumor now is that The Crypt is being replaced with a 4D Free Spin, potentially shorter than the standard model at various Six Flags parks. I'm not certain if this attraction will be...

Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall rethemed to Hasbro

https://edmonton.ctvnews.ca/mobile/first-hasbro-themed-park-in-canada-to-take-over-galaxyland-at-wem-1.4735587 As someone who’s been going to Galaxyland sporadically starting at a very young age, I’m at a loss for words. Might this be an exciting next step for West Edmonton Mall’s future of...

    Rank your Ridden Mine Trains

I got the idea for this thread while watching some POVs of Japanese jet coasters, which resemble mine trains quite a bit. In this thread, any mine train counts - whether it be Arrow, Vekoma, S&S, or even in-house. Here's my rankings: 1. Big Thunder Mountain - Walt Disney World 2. Expedition...

LEGOLAND Windsor | Duplo Dino Coaster | Mack Oval

After comparing this to my first guess - via an overhead of a Zierer Force 0 - I think that this layout is a bit too curvy for it to be an exact clone. Plus, there doesn't appear to be a straight section coming out of either side of the station, which makes discerning where the lift hill is a...

Michigan's Adventure closing Be-Bop Boulevard (Antique Cars) on August 11!

I always dread to see antique cars removed, as they're some of my favorite rides in amusement parks aside from the obvious roller coaster and flat ride. I'm rather doubtful that Be-Bop Boulevard will be replaced with anything except perhaps a state of the art trash can, but I'll keep my eyes...

What was the coaster that helped you brave your fears, and what were they?

Hey CoasterFORCE, I was wondering what that "first big step into coasters" for you all was. That one ride which helped you brave your fears and begin to truly enjoy other daunting roller coasters, one that you will forever remain at least somewhat sentimental and nostalgic towards. I'll start...

The Forums Upgrade: Do you prefer the New CoasterFORCE or Old CoasterFORCE?

Hey everyone, with the recent forums upgrade just finished I was wondering you all's opinions on it. Is it better than ever before? Were you nostalgic for the old forum and want it back? Or do you simply not care in the matter? Either way, I'm interested to hear everyone's sides.

Six Flags Great Adventure — 2020 Coaster?

Hey everyone, from the splash pad that was removed last season to El Diablo’s sudden closure, I think it’s safe to say that Six Flags Great Adventure has something up their sleeves for 2020. I’ll make my guess at either an RMC Raptor clone, or that middleground (2 abreast, with supports designed...

For the first time in four years - Busch Gardens Tampa. April 15, 2019.

While this is still fresh in my head, I’ve decided to write up a trip report about my visit here. As a matter of fact, it was my first visit to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay since November 11, 2015 — nearly four long years! Formerly a Tampa native, I grew up surrounded by the animals, greenery and...

Battle of the Busch Gardens: Tampa VS Williamsburg

Which do you all think is better? After finally going to Williamsburg on March 23rd, I say that Tampa edges it out (Maybe it's my childhood bias? I haven't been back in 4 years but I am changing that next month). If you've been to both - which do you prefer, and why?

Fun Spot Atlanta - Next new coaster?

Looks to be a footer in the bottom right hand corner perhaps. I think this will end up as a family Gravity Group, to be honest, which would be a great fit for this small park. They have bucketloads of expansion room, however, so that's another plus when comparing this Fun Spot to the other two...

    Roller Coasters... in Minecraft!

Figured I might as well post some of my creations here. This is Sky Squid, a MACK dual launched coaster inspired by Helix and ICON. It has 6 inversions, a length of 5216ft, a max speed of 63mph and a maximum height of around 140ft. Also, this is a GCI terrain based woody called Wolfpack...
