Normally my gig season starts with Glasto in June but thanks to some weird work schedules this year I've got an early start.
Add to that I finally have a new phone that takes good gig photos (Sorry for the black and white artsy shots below) and not just pictures that are entirely blue.
I feel...
The parks are obviously all still stalled.
But interesting tidbit.
Seems the Jurong/Nanjing park recieved its Vekoma SFC before work shut down.
If you are wondering its the same model as the recent SFC that went up in Mexico - https://rcdb.com/20472.htm
Which shock horror, was originally...
Looking at this (frankly insane) shot. Are we assuming that square in the cliff face is the tunnel?
In a slight aside. I assume that angled LSM track on the right would hold the dubious record of longest launch track in the world?

Possible prices for this at Clermont.
Red track and grey supports.
It's the only known B&M that has footers in the ground so could well be this ride.
Don't forget this beast. Possibly my favourites looking double down of all time.
Although it doesn't exist in this configuration anymore unfortunately (it was replaced by a normal drop after a fire and now runs as Wild One at SFA)
Oh for sure I'm just playing devil's advocate 😂
Riddler for me is an interesting one as it was partly built as a nostalgia thing for shockwave which had closed 10 years earlier. It's also easily the best of it's kind. It's probably the one ride they have that is the best of it's kind (Tatsu is...
I went to visit a friend at The Florida Institute of Technology (genuine known as FIT) in the early 2010s.
It's been fixed now but at the time their campus was split either side of a main road. There was no way to cross this main road via crossing or bridge, instead students were expected to...
It's a good point and for the most part I agree, but you're a bit harsh on a couple of them 😂 sure superman was usurped by TTD but 6 years is an age in this industry. I mean MF lasted less than 3 months before it was usurped.
I guess it's a bit of a problem with buying early versions of rides...
It's insane.
Part of that instant gratification thing our culture has going on.
I mean who cares if they reveal some cars today or in two weeks time really?
No need to RIP it.
Fairly sure its just moved.
Can be seen here these days

From what I understand that's exactly it. After the last accident the cost of insuring the ride went up considerably and along with the decreasing reliability it was either a refurb like this or lose the ride completely.
The travesty would have been removing it completely and not doing this to it.
Something completely different. Ethiopia is getting it's first ever looping coaster. A Zhipao built looping coaster will open later this year at the new GAST Conference & Wellness City Resort in Mekele.
Not a bad step up for a country that currently only had a single powered dragon as a...
