I think I like roller coasters because the experience is such a far departure from the norm of everyday life. To be able to go 75 mph through giant dives and twists is so out of the ordinary in a fun/exciting/scary way that it's just awesome. I like amusement parks because they are a place where...
I don't usually clap on coasters unless I really enjoyed it or the crew is really rallying to get the riders excited. But it doesn't annoy me to hear people clapping, although on certain coasters it makes me wonder "why are you clapping for that?" Although I do think it's a completely...
I'd Bat Them Lashes
But seriously; I'd probably aim for a very family oriented park with a few "high thrill" attractions with the ultimate goal of having something that appealed to everybody in the family. As far as theming goes I don't really know but the kid's area would be...
Well first I should say I have an affinity for all things horror, so I try to get as much as I can during the Halloween season. The Halloween events I've been to are Fright Fest at SFGAm (05,06,07,08,09) and SFOG (08), Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando (07 & 08) and Haunt at...
A couple coasters come to mind right away - Millennium Force, Hades, Xcelerator, X2...But I'll need to mull it over a bit before I give a final answer.
I remember being "interested" in roller coaster from a very young age (I want to say around 5) because my parents had gotten my family season passes to SFGAm for as long as I could remember, and even though when I was that young I was to scared to ride them I still was fascinated by them. My...
Dragster scared me so much I didn't ride it until 2005 (even though I visited CP each year since 2002)
Intamin rides generally put me on edge, because of they're safety record.
But the most scared I've ever been on a coaster was probably either Scandia Screamer or Deja Vu (SFGAm) because...
Speed is the best coaster in Vegas (IMO) closely followed by Desperado (ok technically it's not in Vegas)
But I think all the coasters in Vegas are pretty good.
Canyon Blaster is pretty standard but the trains are awesome.
I love me some B&M hypers, and every one that I've ridden (less Raging Bull) is in my top 10. Behemoth, Goliath (SFOG), Nitro, Goliath (La Ronde), Apollo's Chariot. All great rides full of airtime and exciting.
