I think I remember it like that and in another rollercoaster board a User confirmed that they don't manually check the restraints. Most likely it's not required to do so. Anyway we should not start speculating about an accident here. That's the job of god awful tabloids like Bild. I'll wait for...

@i305_zack I wanted to know the same a few weeks ago. I found no sign that it might be up again. No news article or anything. I even skimmed through some japanese vlogs and didn't see it running.

Maybe there's a reason to have the LSMs centered. They might be doing something like Fury and the coaster can go forwards or backwards. (neither hope nor really think this is the case)

@JFranks Yeah, had Rio Bravo on that list first, as well. It's a really generic western name. But their homepage links it to an old movie of that name. So it's an IP ride :D

The safety restraints in drop towers are redundant: there are two separate hydraulic cylinders. If the restraints are closed far enough they basically touch the seat piece between your legs so I think it's completely understandable that a seat belt is not required at that point. But there should...
