Apparently passholder previews on 5/27 and they were hunting around on social media for folks to ride for an add shoot that week too. Not a ton of info around for either. Son wants to go that weekend so we'll let you know how spinney and mousy it is.

Joker and Medusa are pretty good, not worth traveling across state lines for. Nothing else is worth the trip by itself. V2 is open so infrequently I've never been able to ride. Superman is the same as other of that model but with the better restraints.

if all the rides were open, it'd be a decent park, but that is generally not the case.

It feels like Six Flags can't be bothered with SFDK most days, but I've had two days this year where most of the rides were running, so maybe, just maybe they're going to stafff the park apropriately.

I have a 4 year old, so I go out of my way to make sure we get on any "restricted" credits now, you know... for his sake... plus lil dude likes the coasters. OTOH my 13 year old bribed the 4 year old with ice cream to go again so that the 13yo and his friend could get the credit on Lucy's...

That would be unusual in California, most permanently installed rides require Concrete foundations to resist earthquake loading.

It looks like it's happening but Goldstriker at CGA has been very rough for a few years, even though it's only 10 years old.
