I was surprised to find that The Great Nor'Easter at Morey's Piers was actually good.

Are they really strict about protocol being followed when boarding? or is it so scary it leads to an evacuation?

Yeah, thankfully all the coasters have opened now as most were down for wind earlier. They definitely need more filler rides like the retro squad that can operate in wind.

With the film crew it was fine on the rides, duct taped selfie sticks and all, but when I rode stuff after they left us they wouldn't even allow the trapped up mic under my shirt!

Is the VR experience with the old trains and fans still in the park? That's one way for it to live on a bit I guess.

For me it was the top hat that was the most shocking part. It will be missed.

I think you need special permission, and that probably requires communication in Japanese. When I went I ended up on a Japanese TV show and they were able to obtain permission to film on rides. Despite the strict loose item policy, this ended up being with gopros on short selfie sticks duct...

I believe parc asterix have had their most successful year this year with the addition of toutatis. I don't think they were exactly faking before, but they have had record attendance
